3 cups chopped tart apples (peeled and cored before chopping)
2 cups fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup quick oats
½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 stick butter, cut into small pieces and chilled
Spread apples and cranberries on bottom of buttered 9x13 baking dish.
Mix together sugars, nuts and oatmeal and spread over fruit. Top evenly with butter.
Bake at 325° for 55 minutes.
